Admissions
The basic policy
for admissions has been poorest among the best subject to the rules
for admission prescribed by the Government. Boys who are orphans
and destitutes are selected for admission to the Residential High
School, on the basis of an entrance test conducted at five centers
in Tamilnadu, at the Sixth Class level. Orphans are given preference. |

These boys continue their study in the Residential High School till their SSLC examination and thereafter generally join in the three year Diploma Course in Mechanical,Computer or Automobile Engineering, in the Residential Polytechnic College. The boys, who after their SSLC, wish to take courses other than DME,DCE or DAE are allowed to take up any of the recognized Higher Studies in the nearby schools, colleges. Thus once a boy is admitted, he
continues in the Home till he is grown up and is educated upto a level
when he can earn his living and stand on his own legs. |
